Diverse and inclusive workplace
We work hard to make NLR a place where everyone feels welcomed. Our commitment is to respect people's dignity, provide equal and fair treatment, and avoid discrimination based on disability, ethnic origin, religion, sexual orientation, age, gender, and so on.
Our strategy involves training and tools to assist our employees, suppliers, and partners in overcoming stereotyping and promoting diversity and inclusion.
Our tools:
-
Disabilities: Inclusive Language Guidelines
-
Communication Guidelines for LGBTQ+ Travelers
-
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Policy
Inclusive travel experiences
Our itineraries put into action our commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion. Each travel experience will create a positive impact on the lives of both our local community and travelers. Here are some of the experiences we are proud to share: a city tour that takes travelers back in time to secret places that LGBTQ+ people used to visit before decriminalization; or a visit to a birthing center run by a group of traditional Kichwa midwives who share their customs and rituals with travelers. These are only a few of the stories and realities of our people that we have incorporated into our travel programs.
